Timothy John Englisch was born and raised in Amsterdam. Ever since he was little, he was always busy drawing. After he dropped out of high school, he went to graphic design school. He worked in graphic design for over ten years before becoming a tattoo artist. During those years he was working for various renomated design companies with many well-known brands.


Timothy has been working at Schiffmacher & Veldhoen Tattooing for ten years now. Here, he build his own clientele and developed his signature style. One of the most interesting projects he and the crew got to take part in, was a collaboration with the Rembrandt House. The project garnered a lot of attention and was widely covered by international media. The artwork was published on The Guardian and Smithsonian.

Timothy’s big passion besides tattooing is oil painting. He is an autodidact with a special interest in seventeenth-century fine art. In 2022, his passion for oil panting combined with his love for seventeenth-century fine art came together in a collaboration with the band ‘For I Am King’ and the Rijksmuseum.
